Chloe & David

While Chloe was getting ready for the big day at the wedding venue, David chose to spend the morning at home with his closest friends and parents. I was invited to photograph these quiet hours before he left to say “I do” — a time filled with laughter, teasing, familiar gestures and the kind of ease that comes from being surrounded by people who know you well.

Away from the ceremony, the formality of the day had not yet arrived. There was something playful and almost innocent in the way they moved around the house together, bringing back a sense of boyhood and old friendships. These photographs are a glimpse of David just before he stepped into the next chapter of his life.
