The pigeon lady

While Laura was walking along the Grand Canal in Dublin 8, she met an old lady who had a particular passion.

Surrounded by pigeons and seagulls, Laura saw a lady arrive, wearing a hat that did not go unnoticed, who came to feed these little birds.

In fact, as soon as she arrived, the birds immediately recognized her and gathered around her. They were only waiting for one thing: for her to give them something to eat.

After a few words exchanged with this woman, Laura learned that the latter came every day to give them stale bread. It has become a habit, a routine between her and these pigeons.

However, not everyone is very happy with this special friendship since the old lady has encountered problems several times with people who refuse to let her give them food.

These threats still fail to discourage her since she continues to go to the Canal every day and does not intend to stop anytime soon.

If Laura can learn anything from this exchange, it is that whatever happens, if you have an idea in mind, you must not let yourself be discouraged by the slightest obstacle.
