Terres de Surf’s Flyer 2

For her Digital Social Online Media course at Griffith College, Laura had to create a two-sided flyer for the business/store of her choice.

So she naturally headed to the surf shop Terres de Surf in her town in Brittany to ask them if they were interested in the idea.

Neither one nor two, Laura began working on the project, trying to bring together the worlds of the store as best as possible. This being a store selling surfing, skating and clothing items from these two worlds, it was important for her that we find the two images (surfing and skateboarding) at first glance on the flyer.

As a result, Laura had the idea of creating the flyer in the form of a postcard. The idea was simple:

– On the front, an illustration combining surfing and skateboarding;

– On the back, all the information needed to get to the store.

Thus, on this side, we find both the elements of the postcard: the stamp, the lines for the addresses, the postage stamp; but also the elements of the shop: the address, opening hours and days, a logo, their message to convey and the main brands sold at the store in the form of a stamp on the card.

So, a clean design emerged from all these ideas. The goal was for the flyer to be easy to understand while having a design that stood out a little from the crowd.
