Lors d’une escapade en bateau (On a boat trip) is a 42-page book of analogue photographs made during a boat trip to Les 7 Îles (The Seven Islands) off the coast of Perros-Guirec, France. The series offers a fleeting glimpses of what a visitor might encounter while exploring these islands on the Pink Granite Coast.
The book was printed, cut, and hand-bound, emphasising a tactile approach to image-making and presentation. This type of project has led me to reflect on sequencing and bookmaking as an extension of photographic practice, closely linked to my interest in alternative processes, an area I would like to continue exploring further.
